ENHANCED FACE STUDIO
COSMETIC TATTOO AFTERCARE GUIDE

ICE ALL TREATMENT AREAS ONCE ON THE FIRST DAY!

APPLY OINTMENT BEFORE ALL CONTACT WITH WATER!

What to expect:

Slight swelling with varying degrees of redness. Fairer complexions will tend to be more pink/red. Skin should gradually flake. Use icepack if uncomfortable for first day. Color fades ~15%

How to care for your eyebrows:

Day of procedure: Pat lightly with CLEAN soft tissue to remove any fluid. Apply ice pack 1-2X on first day over clean plastic on skin. Wash face 2X per day with mild soap and lukewarm water. Pat dry, then air dry. Apply a rice grain size of ointment with CLEAN Q tip. Remove excess ointment.

What to avoid:

FOR 10 DAYS: Avoid placing face directly under hot water or hard shower stream. Avoid all acids (glycolic, retinoid, etc.), anti-aging and acne creams, lotions and cleansers on treated areas. DO NOT PICK brows.

What to notice:

Brows might weep for first few days. Change pillowcase DAILY for first week. Infections are extremely rare, however, if redness persists or pus appears, SEEK MEDICAL ATTENTION.

*CONSULT PHYSICIAN IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE AN INFECTION!*

Follow-up for all procedures: A touch-up procedure is required in 6-8 weeks.

  • AVOID makeup and acids (such as HLA, Glycolic, all anti-aging and anti-wrinkle) on treated areas while healing (two weeks minimum).

  • Avoid touching treated areas, sunscreen, tanning beds, direct sun, and self tanning lotions.

  • Avoid all swimming (face submersion) and steam to face as well as heavy perspiring and exercise.

  • Don’t be alarmed if pigment comes off onto Q-tip when applying aftercare ointment.

  • Don’t be alarmed by color fading after first application.

  • Final color cannot be judged until 4-6 weeks after procedure.

  • If planning laser hair removal or Photo Facial using IPL, notify specialist as lasers may cause pigment to turn black.
